Iron Maiden
Iron Maiden, arguably the biggest band around these days. These guys mean a lot to me, not mostly because of their music, but mostly because I admire the fact that regardless of being over 50 years old, these guys still bring it every single night they perform. They are still active more than 30 years after they started out, and they still pump out records. I get the feeling they will be around for a long while. That kind of dedication to music is what I strive for, and I hope that I will still record and enjoy music when I am old and gray.
What do you think about Iron Maiden, can you agree with my post?

A Thousand Suns
So, not to long ago the renowned band Linkin Park released their fourth studio record "A Thousand Suns", and as with their third release "Minutes to Midnight", they depart once again from their signature Nu-Metal sound, disappointing fans older fans but still, the album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200, selling 241,000 copies.
I personally think that they should have stuck with their original sound, they were pioneers in the Nu-Metal genre and it would have been really interesting to see where it would have led them, had they continued writing in that style. Of course though, they are not in the same place in life as they were ten years ago, and had they continued it might've come out forced and uninspired.
Dear readers, what do you think about Linkin Park's progression, did you ever like them at all, does their new sound appeal to you?

The Theremin
Until very recently I had never heard of this instrument before, yes, this is an actual instrument.
It is called the theremin, an instrument that is controlled without contact from the player.
Yes, this is true.
It is named after its Russian inventor, Professor Léon Theremin, who patented the device in 1928, making it one of the earliest electrical instruments. You control pitch and volume by positioning your hands close or away from the antennae.
I fell in love with this instrument after watching this video:

I am sure you, as I, will want to get one after watching that.
